The untold story

The setup was done,
in a four walled room
surrounded by paintings
and flower, and they were
seated, in front of each other,
covered with a blanket of silence,
which was then splintered,
after a few question was
needled by a talk show host,
and then, that one was
put forth, which was no
less than a disaster-
'so tell me something about your father'
two minutes of silence
were flown, and we all
were in the state to mourn,
she finally uttered a word,
breaking that pin drop
silence, and then she
started- well it's a story,
which i think,
you should all know,
i will recite it today,
which she owns, moreover than i do.

i was just 10 years old,
but i felt like very old,
to experience such things
at that very age, when children
used to play and learn new things,
but i was not playing
but learning something,
my father, yes my father,
was player of all the players,
used to treat my mother
as a game with utmost impunity,
everyday when the
sun goes down, i was learning
from those silent screams,
and unhidden scars,
which my mother owned for
years and years, it is still today
stored like a soft copy, in our
heart and mind.

i apologize for using such words,
because he was my father,
who was a demon and
a drinking beast, throwing
away all his earned money
on drinks, he poured in his
body each day, he was not
into any other bad addiction,
he was just a loser and
a soul depressed, but my
mother stood, as his supporting
pillars, till death came
to took him away, the love
between them is alive
till today, she will never
say, but still she miss him
so much each day, because
he was my father, and i
was the child he adored,
he taught me so many things
at a very young age,
in his unfriendliness way,
so this was the story of
an unkind, rude, ill-mannered
and a demon, who was my
father and I still feel uneasy
for this each day, this is
all I learnt about him,
when he was a living soul.

All the eyes were wet,
and hearts were watered
with tears again and again,
the heartbreaking sound
were heard, in that silent room.
And then the host tried
to utter a word, trying
to choke so hard,
flocking together all the
attention towards him and said,
'thank you'
